Here are what some past participants had to say!
When I started the challenge my objective was not only to lose weight so my clothes fit better but also to see if by changing my eating habits the effect if any, to the pain I deal with my auto immune.
By reducing my sugar intake I have noticed a significant reduction in the pain. In addition I no longer take the amount of meds I used to. What a blessing !!!
Not only have I reduced my sugar intake, but also my eating habits. I was the worst for indulging on “sugar snacks” with my cup of tea around 8-9 PM. I love to bake and could not resist -cookies, cake and other sweets.
I no longer have evening snacks. At first it was hard, but now the temptation has been eliminated.
And if I crave a sweet – I don’t deny myself. I have switched to mid afternoon if I feel like a cookie or a very thin slice. By eliminating evening snacks, I find I get a much better sleep.
One more change I have made is reducing the quantity of food intake.
To summarize, I want to thank you for providing me the opportunity to join this challenge. Without it, I would be where I was 8 weeks ago – not happy with my weight , not getting a good night sleep, and especially dealing with my pain with drugs. Your approach to a healthier lifestyle has rubbed off onto all of us. Thank You ! “
“This challenge was more about embracing change and getting healthy. I feel stronger everyday and my goal is keeping this my daily routine, so far so good and I am excited to continue. I have lost some weight and working towards more each week. I feel better and that’s the goal. Thanks for having such a great team. Only another 60ish pounds to go lol!”
“So glad I signed back up at Bluesky. I feel so much better since doing the challenge. Lost about 5 lbs and getting so many comments on how I look! Amazing what 5lbs less and toning up does. I no longer feel the urge to snack in between meals especially in the evening. My foot also is a lot stronger from doing all the lunges lol. Thanks to you and the trainers at Bluesky!”

“I completed the 8 week fitness challenge @ Blue Sky Fitness and Health Coaching and completed my Fit 3D scan at Body Measure yesterday. I am proud to report that I lost nearly 9 pounds (which I assume was fat) which translated to losing 2 inches around my waist (my dreaded zone)! Woo hoo! I am leaner all around and have dropped a size or two. One of my personal goals I set for the challenge was to fit into an old red party dress that I loved which was 2 sizes too small. Well I did it! It fits and I can move comfortably in it! So now my husband has to take me dancing when we go on vacation this winter 💃🏻🕺.
I’ve been doing the workouts at Blue Sky since mid August so that was just a continuation of a good thing during the challenge. Changing my eating habits was the hardest yet the best thing I did for myself. The challenge introduced me to new, healthier food choices (who knew I’d love quinoa), portion control and intermittent fasting. I aim to keep up with my new eating habits and will definitely keep 💪🏻 working out!” -Rosa B.
