Meet Debbie Haddad.
Hi my name is Debbie Haddad. I am a certified group fitness instructor with 32 years of experience in the fitness industry; and, a recent retiree from my 36 year career with Manitoba Justice.
My background into the fitness world was simple for me. Excessive weight gain during a pregnancy 35 years ago was not kind to me! So a simple question I asked myself had a clear answer: Do better, get fit, set realistic goals, join a gym, learn about fitness and change my lifestyle.
And, so… my fitness journey began. One step at a time. BETTER. EVERY. DAY. Just like what you see on the motivational wall at Blue Sky Fitness!
I was inspired by others improving their health and seeing results. We helped and motivated each other to reach our goals. Fitness became a lifestyle that forever changed me for the better. It will change you too!
I teach numerous types of group exercise classes with additional training in yoga, spin and active older adult specialties.
As a fitness instructor I will help to guide and motivate you through your fitness journey! My goal is to provide you with not just a good workout but along with your hard work and commitment, for you to reap the benefits of improved day to day functioning; increased motivation and stamina, a healthy mindset and an improved lifestyle! I’m thrilled to work with you and be part of the Blue Sky family!
Hi I’m Mia! I just graduated from college majoring in Sport Management while playing varsity volleyball at Durham College in Ontario.

Meet Rachael Dupuis.
Hi there! I’m Rachael, and I have been a registered massage therapist for the last 10 years as well as a yoga instructor for the last 2 years. I have a strong dedication to helping people with the treatment and improvement of soft tissue and joints in the body, as well as the improvement of the effects of mental and emotional stressors on the mind and nervous system. Through my education and explorations of yoga as both a treatment and lifestyle choice, I have deepened my knowledge of the connections between the mind and body, and my passion with helping people reach their health and wellness goals.
I completed my first Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 (200Hr) , and then another in 2023 (50Hr) with Shell Andrea of Shell Andrea Yoga and Kirtan here in Winnipeg. Since my first step towards learning to practice and teach yoga, I have known that yoga would be a part of my life and career.
I have truly been enjoying helping people in this way, and have even had the opportunity a few times to interconnect my yoga practice with my massage practice to help people with certain injuries/conditions by really focusing both their massage treatment and our yoga practice to the treatment of their specific conditions/injury, and have had success with this way of treatment from 2 different angles to tackle the one issue.
The more I explore this new way of helping people, the more I want to have the opportunity to do things this way – I love teaching slower, more restorative based classes, and I hope to have the opportunity to share this with you!
Meet Leigh Morton.
Greetings…..my name is Leigh. My love of yoga began in 2010 after retiring from a long career in the corporate world. I am a 250 Hr certified teacher. I’ve led many different styles of yoga.….my favourite practices being restorative and gentle flow.
There are many wonderful benefits of joining me on your yoga mat…..the most important being that we find our connection between mind, body and spirit and we experience the letting go of tension and stress. I offer many options so as to meet yogis where they are at in their practice and I use a variety of gentle music throughout to help soothe the soul.
Besides my love of Yoga, I am a vegan foodie and enjoy nature, gardening, walking and cycling.
