Blue Sky Fitness Studio will turn one year old on January 3rd, 2018.
That’s 365 days of pure HUSTLE. The decision to go it on your own and open a small business is always filled with mixed emotions ranging from anxiety and fear blended together with a strong dose of excitement and happiness ….and then continually looping through those emotions on a very regular basis!
From social media marketing, to writing blogs, to returning emails, managing software platforms, hiring, accounting, cleaning, maintenance , personal training and teaching classes… the list of a small studio owner is endless! You literally ARE the entire business, especially in the early stages of growth.
Reflecting on this past year makes me feel content. Content at the growth I’ve experienced, the relationships I’ve made, the staff who have been patient while I’ve tried to figure out what’s working and what’s not, but most importantly the lives we’ve changed for the better.
I absolutely LOVE that we have attracted a community of REAL people that come together in a non-intimidating comfortable environment looking to take that first step to get healthier, fitter and develop some friendships along the way. A group of real people….people who have perhaps lost a spouse, a parent, a child, had cancer, dealing with aging parents, suffer from depression or anxiety, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or just the every day stresses of life….all coming together with a common goal of getting healthier in our little studio.
Thank you to each and every client that has graced our doorstep and supported me this past year….I am truly blessed and sincerely thank you for putting your health in our hands. Thank you for being a part of our #blueskyfamily!
