Short on time? Aside from stress being the number one reason people can’t seem to fit exercise in to their lives, a busy schedule is the next reason often cited.
Most people figure that if they can’t spend a lot of time each week committed to exercising they adopt a “why bother” attitude and in turn a sedentary lifestyle.
I’m here to tell you that there a numerous health and even fitness benefits to devoting just 30 minutes a day to moving your body!
First off, you need to take a good hard look at your daily life habits … ask yourself where and how you might fit exercise in.
Are you close enough to walk or cycle to work? Can you walk on your lunch hour or join a 30 minute workout class? When you arrive home from work can you go for a 15-30 minute walk right away before you start dinner and other activities? Can you take the stairs instead of the elevator?
Blocking off time and scheduling an appointment in your day is critical …treat it like any other appointment or meeting in your work day and your body will thank you.
There are fantastic benefits to 30 minutes a day of getting active!

- Increased “good” cholesterol and decreased “bad” cholesterol
