Eccentric Sculpt with Coach Amber
Eccentric conditioning is the downward portion of the exercise where the muscle is lengthening. Your body is much stronger in this phase of the movement and able to tolerate more weight than in the concentric phase (muscle shortening) of the movement.
Training eccentrically will help your muscles, joints and tendons get even stronger and develop more power and maybe even more hypertrophy (muscle growth). Give it a go!
