1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
I heard about Blue Sky Fitness Studio through a girlfriend that was a member.She knew that I was looking for a smaller gym that offered several classes geared for people over 50. Since I had just retired and wanted to stay active, her positive recommendation motivated me to join. The proximity of the gym was a bonus.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
I have several but the Senior Fit Circuit class is a great one and the time slots work for me since I’m not an early riser. I also love the Yoga Stretch class and the Senior Fit Cardio Weights and Core. These classes are challenging for me and the instructors are caring and very knowledgeable.
3. WHAT’S THE ONE THING/S YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
I noticed that I am more alert throughout my day when I exercise and that I feel happier and stronger both mentally and physically. I also have less lower back pain flare-ups when I go on a regular basis.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
This gym is so much more welcoming and personable than others I have gone to in the past.You actually get to know each other’s name (although I’m forgetful) and some have become friends. It’s a fun environment. The instructors are very nice, energetic, and knowledgeable.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I wouldn’t mind seeing a Senior Fit class offered on the week-ends.
