1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
My friend Carmelle suggested we try the introductory week after speaking with Kathryn’s parents at Norberry Community Centre who highly recommended Blue Sky. My first class was Amber’s Sunday morning Fat Blast, struggled through the class but felt like a million bucks after!
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
I really don’t have a favorite class. I love Tabata, weight training and circuit training. I struggle the most with EMOM but feel so strong and accomplished when I finish the class with a little bit of grace and dignity.
3. TELL US WHAT YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
Mobility, strength, flexibility, mood, and sleeping habits. Going to the gym is therapy for me-something to focus on and look forward to- makes me physically and emotionally stronger. It is a safe space to go and the outside world pauses for 60 minutes.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
ATMOSPHERE!! Kathryn and the trainers genuinely care for all Blue Sky clients. They are knowledgeable and encouraging.
NON JUDGMENTAL!! All members are friendly and encouraging.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would not change a thing. I am proud to be a part of the “Blue Sky Family” and the gym is my happy place!
