1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
I heard about Blue Sky from my friend Lori Hildebrandt, who has been talking it up for a few years now! I really needed to change up my exercise routine to incorporate more strengthening.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
It sounds cliche, but I love taking a variety of classes every week. I love the Tabata that I take…one with Amber, one with Kathryn. I think that strengthening is also really important for women “a certain age” so I try not to miss Sculpt on Thursdays! The class I love to hate is Shred on Saturday mornings…I practically need a nap after that one.
3. TELL US WHAT YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
I have absolutely noticed that gardening and snow shovelling is MUCH easier now than it used to be. I always think of the rope at Blue Sky when I’m trying to untangle my garden hose from afar! I shovelled for two hours a couple of weeks ago and wasn’t even sore the next day! Picking up things off the floor, carrying groceries and even rolling over in bed has also been easier since joining Blue Sky.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
What separates Blue Sky from other facilities I have tried is the excellence in teaching. The teachers have an amazing repertoire of exercises, and they consistently work different parts of the body while still managing to get a whole body workout into each class.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Hmmmm…I would probably love to see another Fat Blast option offered, as I’ve always really liked that class and since my Sunday morning schedule has recently changed I haven’t been able to go to Amber’s Fat Blast.
