1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
After retiring and moving to Winnipeg, I wanted to get into shape and become more active. I googled gyms and Blue Sky had great reviews. Went to check it out and owner Kathryn greeted me and made me feel very welcome. I was provided with some passes for free classes to test their programs. I was very impressed with the various classes offered and time slots. Kathryn provided me on proper techniques and which parts of the body we were working on. The other members were very friendly and made me feel part of the gym family.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
I have 2 favourites equally. Circuit provides both cardio and strength. The strength classes focuses on the muscle toning and flexibility which I feel is very important as we age.
3. WHAT’S THE ONE THING/S YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
More flexibility and endurance definitely! My energy levels have improved significantly. Before joining Blue Sky, I lacked motivation and had very little energy. Now, I feel I have the energy levels I had about 10 or 15 years ago.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
The personal experience most definitely . The exercise and yoga instructors are very knowledgeable. They assist to ensure proper form technique and provide positive feedback.
Enjoy the change in classes so it doesn’t become monotonous.
You are always greeted by name and make you feel welcome. Size of classes are perfect . Friendliness of everyone makes you feel part of almost a family.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Parking lot could be bigger however thankfully there is sufficient parking on the streets.
