1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
It was almost 5 years ago and I often drive down St. Anne’s Rd and kept seeing the sign and the trial offer, so after awhile I decided to check it out. I was in a place where I wasn’t happy with my weight and physical activity.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
Hard to pick just one. I enjoy the Senior Fit Circuit but also the Cardio/Weights & Core. I also enjoyed Tabata but have not worked my way back up just yet since having to take time away. The Yoga Stretch is also starting to become one of my faves.
I guess I enjoy the variety.
3. WHAT’S THE ONE THING/S YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
Where do I begin……
My weight, my strength, my confidence, my eating.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
So I have tried a few through the last 30+ years. I like the classes, signing up keeps me accountable. With Blue Sky I feel I have gained a family. Everyone is friendly, non judgemental and supportive of each other.
For a year and a half (possibly more) I was challenged with my own injuries and then became a caregiver and had to put the gym to the side. Kathryn the owner always checked in on me to make sure I was doing ok.
Life can throw us some tough times and just knowing my Blue Sky family was there when I could resume my workouts was very comforting.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Don’t think there is much I would change. Adding a Sunday Senior Fit would be nice (which I believe they have from time to time). Love my Blue Sky Family!
