1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
I had recently moved to St. Vital area and saw that Blue Sky was very close to my new home. I was talking with my brother about joining the gym and he said he knew Kathryn and that I would really enjoy whatever she had to offer in fitness.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
Honestly, I love them all. I would say Tabata because the format encourages me to use heavier weights and go harder on the cardio.
3. WHAT’S THE ONE THING/S YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
I’m definitely stronger and my cardio has really improved. Both these improvements have aided me in being a better dressage rider and a faster dog walker :). Waking up and knowing I’m off to the gym most mornings every week makes me smile. Working out with excellent coaches, rocking music and like-minded gym buddies is good for the brain and the soul.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
So many reasons! Blue Sky offer diverse and high quality classes coached by exceptionally kind, humorous and knowledgeable instructors. My classmates are kind, helpful, and supportive – it is an environment of comradery where we all root for each other and laugh our way through the process of exercising our more senior bodies and minds.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I honestly can’t think of anything. I love Blue Sky just the way it is!
