1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
I was walking by and saw the banner advertising $10 for a week and gave it a whirl. I was looking to get back into exercising and this is within walking distance from home so this is perfect for me.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
Yin Yoga! I find that it fits in really well with the Circuit and Yoga classes I attend. I have had migraines and tight muscles in my upper body for decades. After attending Yin/Block/Fascia Release for 6 months I noticed significant pliability in my muscles and a decrease in migraines. Yep, the class definitely hurts, but the results are worth it. Plus we laugh a lot too.
3. WHAT’S THE ONE THING/S YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
I have noticed that I’m physically and emotionally stronger. Knowing that I got to this place with assistance and encouragement from the instructors but doing the hard work myself is very empowering.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
It’s a very encouraging, inviting atmosphere. The instructors are always helping members make the most of their experience. The members are extremely encouraging of each other. Kathryn also sponsors out of gym get togethers which are always a lot of fun. I don’t know how many gyms have both instructors and members breaking into spontaneous song on a regular basis!
5.IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Change anything? Nope! It’s great the way it is.
