1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
A friend asked me to try it out last July. After one visit, I was hooked! The boutique style studio and close proximity to home was and continues to be motivating. I was determined to get serious about improving my overall health and wellbeing.
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
At first I would have said Senior Fit Circuit, but now that I have tried Senior Fit Tabata, Senior Fit Strength, Cardio Weights and Core, together with Yoga Strength, they are all my favourite. Each one challenges me in so many ways. The Yoga is divine. The workouts are exhilarating and fun.
3. WHAT’S THE ONE THING/S YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
Aside losing 30 lbs and gaining improved fitness, I never thought I would ever be able to do a sit up, it’s my health and wellbeing. It is now a welcomed habit to go to “my happy place” 4 mornings a week. I’ve also adopted a plant based lifestyle thanks to joining the challenge last Fall.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
Most definitely the boutique style studio. I was no longer interested in those large gyms. Been there done that. The whole atmosphere at BlueSky is what I believe sets them apart from others. Kathryn has raised the bar (no pun intended) as a Health, Wellness and Fitness professional. Her exemplary team of professionals are amazing. I am so grateful to Kathryn, Rachel, Deb, Lisa and Shell for their expertise and guidance. Last but certainly not least it is my fellow BlueSky members. They truly are the pièce de résistance and my inspiration. We work hard, have fun together and support each in so many ways. Hugs to all.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I wouldn’t change a thing. One might say more space but why? I like it just the way it is.
