The start of another year is unfolding before each and every one of us…an empty book of 365 pages.

Make 2017 YOUR year where you put on your oxygen mask first so you can be amazing to those around you as you will be strong, fit and healthy! Setting a solid game plan will help you to turn these goals into reality.
Follow these 7 tips and you will skyrocket your rate of success!
1. Announce your goal/s and set a contract with yourself with your first end date of 3 months. This amount of time is manageable and can be the first “check-in” with yourself.
2. Find an accountability partner and ask them to send you a daily or weekly check-in via text message or email or an old school phone call!
3. Imagine. Visualize what you feel like once you have achieved your new goal. How will you look? How will you feel? Who will be around you? What are your surroundings like? By visualizing yourself in the place you desire you are increasing your chances of achieving whatever it is you desire.
4.Journal your thoughts. If you have a small success, write about it! List your struggles, your frustrations and your feelings as you move to change your negative habit into a positive one that serves you best.
5.Surround yourself with positive people that support you. If your goal is weight loss, and your husband or wife is stocking your pantry with potato chips they are not being supportive!
6. Use technology to your benefit. Download an application that will interact with you to develop better habits, track your progress and move you to measurable success.
7. Be kind to yourself. If you screw up don’t give up. One step backward, three steps forward. You are human, it’s okay to have setbacks. Shake it off, move on and smile!
