1. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY OUT OUR STUDIO?
I literally googled “female personal trainers” in the south east area of the city, and Kathryn and Blue Sky came highly recommended. Luckily for me, I landed at a gym and with a trainer who is more than what I could have anticipated!
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT BLUE SKY AND WHY?
Amber’s Trainer’s Choice class on Fridays at 6:00 am is my favourite. She totally kicks my butt, but I feel so accomplished when I’m done. There’s enough variety to keep my mind off the exertion and I’m always happy when I can do a bit more than I did at the last class. And my workout is done by 7:00 am.
3. TELLS US WHAT YOU’VE NOTICED THAT HAS IMPROVED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE JOINING?
The thought that”I should work out” no longer takes up real estate in my head. I plan my schedule, sign up for classes and then it’s done. All I have to do is show up. While I’ve noticed my clothes starting to fit better, it’s also what I no longer notice: headaches, achy-ness, stress. These things are gone.
4. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT SEPARATES US FROM OTHER FITNESS FACILITIES YOU’VE TRIED?
Kathryn – the leader. The warmth and caring she demonstrates for her clients and customers is unmatched, and filters down to the rest of the gym. Everyone follows her lead to welcome new clients to the gym and to make them feel comfortable. That, and she offers deep experience and fitness expertise to clients of a. . .. ahem. . . . certain age. Like me.
5. IF YOU COULD CHANGE OR ADD ONE THING AT BLUE SKY WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I really can’t think of anything! It’s great the way it is.
